The Role
The internship was really enjoyable. The people I met were extremely friendly, the events organised were fun and useful, and it gave a great insight into the world of accounting.
I was really surprised by just how supportive and attentive everyone was. They immediately made us feel part of the team, gave us real responsibility and always took the time to answer any questions we had. They were always grateful for the work we completed for them.
We were always given tasks to do, and were told if we needed any more to just ask for more, which was promptly given to us. I was never sat doing nothing and found I learnt alot from the work I was doing.
We were given the work of real graduates which was great as an insight into what the actual job would be like if we were to get a future position.

The Culture
I commuted each day which meant I did spend quite alot on travel fares. London is an expensive city, and so socialising was also quite expensive too.
You can't get better than London for nightlife!
