The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed each and every aspect of working within such as welcoming team
Extremely down to earth colleagues, each valuing your thoughts, opinions and suggestions, creating a very friendly atmoshpere
Whilst expected to maintain work levels under my own initiative, appropriate guidance where required was always provided by all levels of senior management with all activities
Equal and varying balance of work loads, entirely dependant on day to day situations, but always some kind of work to participate in
gradual responsibility was placed upon myself the more I could demonstrate my skills and capabilities from studying at university. I was able to request more responsibility anytime I felt I could handle more
Extremely beneficial skills assisted in all aspects of development both personally and professionally, an experience that will not be forgotten anytime soon
The Company
A good balance of fun was mixed in with all types of work undertaken in order to help ease the pressures and stresses placed upon us
Very loosely organised, allowing the intern to help suggest and structure the placement in order to help much it much better and more enjoyable
I felt like a very valued person within the organisation, and people were consistently helpful and supportive, providing me with a sense that they did invest heavily both financially and professionally
Flexi Time
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Whilst providing a great insight into this particular industry and offering many suitable positions, I feel there is much more out there yet to explore and would consider keep looking
The Culture
Not many students on placements were present at the organisation, but was in contact with the few that were
easy to travel to and very local, minimised all costs and expenses. Not experienced any social scene as of yet
Not yet experienced any type of nightlife within the surrounding areas but plan to do so sometime in the near future
Apart from work related activities outside of working hours, no other opportunities were found
