The Role
I did not greatly enjoy sitting in the same seat working with technology on a daily basis, but the work was varied, and gave me the opportunity to have insights into all kinds of business.
My team were extremely supportive and constantly provided me with feedback, often being vocal about how appreciative they were of the work I had been doing.
I was provided with feedback on a daily basis, and extremely detailed feedback at the end of my placement.
I like to be busy - so for me, the intense hours were good. I was finished by 8pm most days too, which was very nice.
Because I had previous experience with the company, I was given a great deal of responsibility.
The work I did will not assist me in my studies in Philosophy. But it was certainly worthwhile in gaining an insight into corporate culture and business practices.
The Company
I did not enjoy the repetitive tasks that even very senior members of the team were being asked to do day by day.
The internship was extremely well organised by HR - right down to the hours and specific intern socials.
I feel like I was certainly invested in to return to the company, so that I was being taught skills that would be transferrable onto another technology based consulting project.

Working from home
I was offered a graduate job, and the starting graduate salary is certainly appealing, but it is not my dream job, no.
The Culture
Amongst fellow interns, there was a good social scene, but amongst the team there was not.
London is expensive. Totally worth it.
London, again.
Few as an intern - but if you work there for longer you could join societies and take charity days.
