The Role
Really good team spirit.
Made me feel at home and gave me interesting and challenging work.
Everyone was keen to lend advice when requested.
Always work to do but never felt too pressured.
Given responsibility for running large models and building databases.
An excellent opportunity to put into practice some of the concepts and ideas learned at university.
The Company
Good bunch of people who were keen to chat as well as get the work done.
Slick. Many well planned and coordinated events.
3 day training as well as mentoring.
Subsidised Canteen
A place where high-fliers can achieve early in their careers.
The Culture
A good spirit amongst the interns with events often taking place after work.
Nothing in the local vicinity, but central London is only a short hop away.
Many bars, but had to head into London for work
Many different societies and activities organised within Barclays.
