  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was well organized and educational

    • They were always willing to give advice and offer information

    • it was always offered, people gave their cards and i even arranged a breskfast meeting with conor daily before work one day

    • the additional project was great and kept us busy after work, a reading list would be nice

    • there were a lot of talks which didn't require much responsibility but the workshops were great, being put on the spot and asked to give short presentations was challenging

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • it helped broaden some knowledge when we eventually studied the topics like DCF

    • great group of people and we got really close

    • I felt so priviliged to be there, I was very looked after from travel arrangements to contacts that i made there

    • there is a little concern to how much investment the firm will continue to put into the investment banking division. I hope to seal a position there though

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • we had dinners together and a drink on the last night

    • accommodation was paid, it was averagely priced

    • Didn't experience it!

    • still able to go to the gym etc.
