The Role
Was a very interesting experience and an insight into the workings of a large company and other large organisatyions
On the whole by the newere members (E1-3) very well and as one of the team, However some of the managers were less welcoming and used you for menial tasks as opposed to the work you were meant to be doing.
One of the best parts of the job was the support and aid we were given in all tasks.
Varied, there would be weeks where we would put in close to 60 hours and other weeks where we would be bored. On the whole at clients it was always busy, in the office nothing to do.
A decent amount, it felt on many jobs as if I was in charge of certain sections and it was my responsibility to see them done correctly.
My people skills and computer literacy have developed well and I feel more mature and capable having had real world experience.
The Company
Varied by time of year and as to how many people were in the office. On the whole very few were consistently in the office so hard to have a great atmosphere.
Very well organised in terms of the programme and the monthly meetings.
Taught us useful things at the monthly GAP meetings and gave advice on interviews and time at university.
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Feel like there are options to go back if desired.
The Culture
A great bunch of youngsters who got on really well with one another, particularly out on jobs.
Expensive due to the fact it was London.
Great nightlife, particularly on the weekends.
Football, and other social events and activities but nothing serious.
