The Role
It was a well defined and yet flexible internship.
During lunch time everyone was welcoming and made me feel at home, even though I was youngest member in office.
I used to sit next to my manager and also was allotted a mentor to help me.
It was almost a perfect balance, with some slow days. But you always had a chance to learn something new, everyday.
I was given a decent amount of responsiblity.
The internship equiped me with strength that will help me through out my life.
The Company
It was sometimes fun, like Office Olympics and stuff. But sometime, during training program, it was really serious and meant business.
It was decently set up.
They helped me a lot, to learn new things and explore other parts of company.
Working from home
The future employment prospect looks good within this organization.
The Culture
Sadly, I was only student working in office and almost everyone was twice my age, so although everyone was nice and friendly, the social scene was almost non-existent.
It being in Glasgow, I was commuting daily.
Being Glasgow, the night life was pretty awesome.
Since I was on a short term internship, the oppurtinites to get involved in activities outside of work domain were limited. Although for year long interns, the oppurtinities were endless.
