The Role
Enjoyed the placement, got on well with all my colleagues and enjoyed the work i was doing.
The work i did was appreciated by colleagues and i was regularly thanked for it.
I was encouraged to ask questions about any problems i had.
The flow of work was inconsistent, some days i was very busy, other days i had did not have enough work to keep me busy for the whole day.
The work i was doing had importance to the company and i was mainly left to complete the work by myself, only contacting colleagues with any questions or when the work was complete.
The experience of working in an office and on site was useful and will continue to be so for once i have finished university.
The Company
Friendly atmosphere where you feel open to talk.
There were no real problems with the placement or its organisation.
There was one workshop that the placement students went on and i also went on several IT courses and a first aid course.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
I would certainly be interested in working for the company again.
The Culture
There was a good relationship among the other students and there were many trips organised for us.
I lived at home during the placement so not really relevent but when we went out it was reasonably cheap.
Not bad nightlife, similar to any small-medium town.
Many different sports and social clubs operated within the company.
