The Role
It was really insghtful, but really boring work (just on a computer all day) so its not the career for me
Everyone was really nice and approachable, but the people were all a bit dull, but really nice people
Everything was explained several times, and everyone was on hand to help you out
Really quite busy, but youa re allowed to leave when your core hours are done So its good to be busy while doing work, but then good that you can just leave when you should be able to
Not much, but you were given graduate level work and it was really insightful, but it wasn't as if you were running team meetings, but you were given your few minutes to tell everyone what you had been working on and things
There was loads of training and my skills were really developed, but I've decided I don't want a career in this sort of field
The Company
Pretty dull, everyone just tapped away on their computers, however everyone was really friendly when you started talking to them
First week was just all reading, absorbing information, then starting off with little tasks and my knowledge grew. There was an intern project to do throughout too
Loads, I spent time with several senior people getting detailed explanations into their work Everyone would make time to spend with me
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Got a job :)
The Culture
Really good, there was just 6 of us so we ended up pretty close
Central London is expensive
London's nightlife is awesome!
Not really, everyone in the office sort of kept themselves to themselves and there wasn't any firm organised events
