The Role
It was really good, better than my intern at another Big 4 firm
Everyone was SO nice and friendly I spent most of the intern evenings socialising with the team and they felt like family at the end
Loads of help, nothing was too much of a problem for anyone If they were busy they would make time for you later that day
Was busy enough that I didn't get bored, but I never got stressed/worried about how much work I had to do
Its an internship - I was given meaningful tasks but nothing too heavy
Loads - report writing, actuarial calculations, minute taking, meetings interaction
The Company
Really good. Everyone knew each other and was friends, everyone had a joke with everyone else!
Really well, everything was structured good. Lots of training (that was needed) but not an excess, then small tasks at the start leading onto bigger projects at the end of my internship
Loads - IT skills really developed and general office wide skills (minute taking, controlling meetings etc.) was improved
Flexi Time
Company Car
International Travel
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Got a job - most people did
The Culture
Loads of nights out, social events and pub trips!
London - was super expensive but worth it
London - awesome but pricey!
Loads of football, random team socials, pub trips, weekend activies ongoing with so many grads in one office!
