The Role
Placement was interesting but didn't get much exposure to the rest of the business.
Valued by close team but not by wider department.
Not as much as I would have expected. Didn't have any formal progress/development reviews. It was obvious the team hadn't had an intern before.
I had a lot of freedom to management my time which I liked, but wasn't given any deadlines to to structure placement which would have been useful.
Within my project I was responsible but wasn't given any other tasks so no other responsibility.
Developed organisational skills further but not much other than that.
The Company
Office was busy so didn't always get a seat in the main part of the office.
Definitely could have been better, but I think it was specific to my department/team.
Didn't receive any formal training or development during placement.

Working from home
Seems like a good company to work for with a good graduate scheme. Bit put off by how huge the company is, but that's a personal preference.
The Culture
Tried to organise social events but really difficult even though there are a lot of placement students around. The building is so big, there's no chance of meeting another student. Other colleagues didn't seam to socialise with one another out of work. I imagine the graduates get to know each other well though.
Average, neither expensive or inexpensive.
Good but I had an advantage of it being the area where I go to uni
None that I knew of
