The Role
I enjoyed my job, but I could have been challenged more and had more organised projects ready for me.
I got on well with my colleagues and was even invited on team visits to other sites.
My line manager gave me help and advice whenever I needed it. The management team were always asking if I was ok and if I was enjoying the placement. I felt like I could go to them if I needed support and guidance.
Sometimes there wasn't much work to do and some times I had a very long list!
I would like to have been given more responsibility (possibly in the form of one big project that I could have seen from start to finish).
Alot of the projects that I completed were related to my degree course; for example I had to learn alot about mixing and mixer techniques to design a new portable vessel.
The Company
Often quiet, but a lot of people we're up for a joke now and then.
OK. my projects were not organised beforehand.
I wasn't offered any training programmes or courses
Flexi Time
International Travel
good prospects and fast track to management - responsibility from day one!
