The Role
It was the most I have ever learned about myself. The facilitators were excellent too.
There is a big push towards gettting to know each other and I've made friends for life.
The feedback is constant and really aids your development over the week.
Each day is very busy but it's all great fun. There is a great mix between social and educational activities.
Everyone has an opportunity to lead, hence the name Leadership Academy.
This is a priceless learning curve and an opportunity I would recommend everyone to try and take.
The Company
Everyone is having fun and you're constantly encouraged to relax and enjoy yourselves.
It's been done for a few years so the programme runs like clockwork.
From an expensive hotel to freebies, EY spend a LOT of money on the academy and it shows in the amount you learn.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
International Travel
Healthcare/Dental
I got fasttrackked through the application process and landed a job!
The Culture
There's money behind the bar and kareoke sessions amongst other great evenings!
Everything is paid for.
You stay within the hotel as it's quite far away from any 'real' nightlife but you make up for the lack of the typical night out!
There's not really any 'work' it's all development, but you have some downtime and have free reigns over all the hotel facilities.
