The Role
It was really fun, not only was it targetted towards us learning and networking, but money and time was put into ensuring we all had a good time, along with getting to know each other and bonding as a group, which was a really nice touch and made the hole week much more enjoyable
It was a week of presentations, so it wasn't like we had a team and coworkers. Saying that everyone was really friendly and I stopped a few people in the corridors to try and network a bit more, everyone was happy to stop and have a chat, or gave you their card and gave you a time to call them later
Again, it was all sort of presentations so it wasn't like we had a manager giving us work, but again everyone was really friendly and was actively looking to ensure you had a good and enjoyable time
The normal hours were all full of presentations and various networking events, however there were lots of much needed breaks filled in. there were lots of evening events, which meant we were out the house for a long time
Again,we weren't in a team or anything. It was a week full of presentations and getting to know the company, so this question isn't really applicable
Lots, there was so much training and personal developement, along with just gaining a huge mass of knowledge into how the investment banking world runs, and how individual banks operate
The Company
I always had this impression that everyone that works in a bank are really stressed, and just take all their anger out on their juniors while screaming at everyone within ear shot. This really isn't the case, everyone is focussed and works hard, but the office was so relaxed. Nothing like the Wall Street film!
It was really well structured, everthing had been planned out and we were given a hour by hour iteneray before we arrived, so we knew what was coming ahead and could prepare before hand (which was really useful)
I gained a mass of banking knowledge. The hole week was geared towards us having a good time, along with learning and developing ourselves as much as possible

The Culture
Yeah, there was so many events organised that we were out every evening together and all really gelled.
It was all on expenses :)
Awesome - so many bars and clubs everywhere in London!
There was evening entertainment organised every evening, with people from all the over bank around too, so evenings were really good fun!
