The Role
I enjoyed the job and found that i was valued for the work i produced
The majority of my collegues were lovely and valued how hard i worked and the end products i produced
My boss regularly checked to make sure that i was happy with what i was doing, and offered me support and suggestions with the work i was doing
Some days i was extremely busy and others i found there was less to do. the majority of time was filled though
I had a lot more responsibility than most of the other placement students but still felt that i could ask for help when i needed it.
I feel the skills i have pciked up will be more useful for work after i finsih my degree rather than for the duration of my degree
The Company
There was a large number of students which meant we were able to maintain a social aspect. This was also apparent with the full time members of staff. That said we were expected to work without distrupting others
I felt my job was very well organised and i knew what i was supposed to be doing
Towards the begining of the placement i was invested in highly but towards the end it became more and more apparent that the company was aware i would soon be leaving and seemed to take less of an interest
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
FTS have no graduate programme and do not appear to keep in contact with many of the students they hre
The Culture
The social aspect was great withing fujitsu for the students
Bracknell has nothing to do but Reading has a few clubs and shopping. did not find the prices to be over expensive
There are a few clubs but not much variety as to the type
There were but all opportunities were created by the students themselves
