The Role
The work was really good, it was such a unique perspective working on the accounting side of things from a business, you get to see the hole scope of the business rather than just simple numbers working at a top 4
Really well, from my first week I was getting asked my opinion in team and department meetings, and my ideas were met with enthuasim and weren't just dimissed
Everything was explained really well, and then there was the hole team there for me to grab and ask for help if I was stuck on anything
It was a case of me really liking the work, and then looking around and searching for more work, so I was rather busy. However that was all on my own accord, you could easily have less work and just relax
After the first few weeks, and putting forward good suggestions, the team was acting on them. In these projects I was actually running the show, people were discussing improvements or modifications to my plan and idea. The firm was so supportive and I was so shocked since I was just an intern!
Really well, project managment, time management, influencing ability along with proper accounting projects
The Company
It was very work focussed, but the second it hit 5.30 everyone would head to the pub and work would be forgotten about
Everything was really planned out, but then as with any other office, projects took different routes, new work came in and everything went out the window. However I was seamless added to the team and it felt like I was any other employee who had been working there for years
Nothing was too much of a problem. Wanted something explained, go ask anyone. Not sure how to do something on the computer software, just grab someone and they would sit down and show you

The Culture
Yeah, there was only one other intern but a few graduates. Since its a small team you get pretty close, then go out at the weekends and have a laugh Most of the office is male
Its really expensive but your paid well
Its London, amazing!!
As above, there was a good social scene after work and at the weekends, so you can get to know the office well socially and become good friends
