The Role
Most of the work I was given was interesting and varied, it was also useful to have the opportunity to talk to other people in other departments to get a better feel for the firm.
Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, I felt part of the team and fellow colleagues couldn't have done more to try and help me. Actively got me joining in with all their activities.
Gave me plenty of work to do, even when she was busy, also got other work from other people which varied my workload.
Sometimes there was a lapse where I didn't have anything to do, however this was only for a very short period and meant I could really ensure my other work was of a high quality.
I didn't feel like I was ever left to my own devices or felt pressured. Not really given much responsibility, which is completely understandable on a work placement.
Learnt some new skills and also helped put into practice/improve the skills I already have. Very useful week.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly but hardworking in the office environment. Had fun partaking in charity olympic events and going out for dinner with the other trainees.
Very well organised, had plenty of information before hand and guidance whilst I was there.
Spent plenty of time with me and provided me with interesting work, no specific training or development as such though.
Company Parties/Events
I was invited to the assessment day.
The Culture
Yes, the other two people on the placement were very friendly and we often spent time together. It was very enjoyable going out for dinner with some of the trainees.
Relatively well priced.
Very good, Nottingham has a great night life.
Yes we were invited to a social event and took part in charity fundraising events.
