The Role
It was a really fun week, it was more or less sitting through presentations and networking all week. You learn so much!
We were all put up in a hotel, had evening entertainment organised together - by the end of the week we felt like family
We were more or less just listening to presentations all week, but we were given so much guidance on how to apply for jobs, what to say in interviews etc.
Everything was planned out, from about 8 - 6 in the evening, then after 6 you would ahve evening entertainment. There were lots of breaks during the day so it wasn't like we were stressed with work, just that the week was really well organised
Not at all, you just meet people from various divisions in the bank and listen to what they do on the job!
Really well, I learnt so much about how a bank operates, what all the different divisions do, what department I want to work in, what skills are needed for each team. This information has set me up to start applying for jobs, its so valuable.
The Company
Really good atmosphere, we were all there to learn and everyone that came in was looking towards helping us as much as possible
Really well, each hour was planned out, we were told weeks before we arrived what we would be doing on each day, how to prepare. We were also put up in a hotel which was nice
Everything! The hole week was planned towards us developing ourselves. The firm spent somuch money and time of its employees towards teaching us, preparing us for a career in banking
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
I got an internship for my second year with them
The Culture
We were only there a week, so nothing too big was done. However we all had a few drinks in the evenings at the social events and on the last Friday we had a really good night out
London is really expensive!
London is amazing!!-
