The Role
There was no concrete project to work on. Just job shadowing and sitting around. A summer filled with asking for work.
Great team to work with for the most part. Definitely undervalued by manager and some colleagues though. Treated a bit like an amateur with low intelligence.
As stated above, there wasn't a whole lot of work - very frustrating!
Only after asking for more work and responsibility, and being placed with another manager was I actually entrusted to carry out responsible tasks.
The Company
A good office to work in, lively most of the time.
Not very organized at all. No actual project to work on. On my first day both my manager and sponsor had forgotten that I was starting and had left early for the day.
Interview feedback session were a positive, but other than that I wouldn't say that much was invested
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
The Culture
Met a great group of students through this placement!
London is expensive as everyone knows, take it with a grain of salt.
Only by me organizing them.
