The Role
I couldn't have asked for a better placement experience.
I worked within a fantastic team who always made me feel appreciated. I was thanked for all the work that I did, and always treated like a permanent member of the team.
My line manager and my entire team were always on hand to support me, and although my manager was always busy, she always had time to help me.
I never had a bored moment, and was always busy, but not to the point that I was overworked.
More than I could have imagined - and more than my peers at university. I have gained so much experience that will help me once I leave university.
I can now apply my skills to my degree, and have learnt invaluable skills that will assist me with any job.
The Company
HR is a friendly division to work in.
Very well organised - work is allocated throughout the year.
They really value you and your input, and you are encouraged to participate in training such as the ECDL qualification.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Healthcare/Dental
Although you are not guaranteed a graduate job, the skills you learn will help you a lot with the recruitment process.
The Culture
It's the city so it isn't cheap, but there are plenty of 'happy hours' that last all night every week day.
The city - so plenty of choice!
