The Role
I had a really great year, with a good balance of work I found interesting and challenging, a really friendly team and a good social life.
I never felt like I was an intern, from day one I was treated like a member of the team.
My manager was always willing to help with any problems I faced within my placement.
the level of work fluctuated, there were times when I had less work but there is always something to be getting on with.
I was able to develop my level of responsibility during the year. I had my own project I was respnosible for as well as my general tasks.
I can see how my skills developed during my year and I am sure they will be valuable tomy future career and studies.
The Company
I found everyone in the office very friendly and settled in straight away!
I found I was able to mould the placement to my own requirements, it has a good structure and I was able to get involved in work I found useful to my studies and future career.
I was able to attend a training course and given on the job training during my year. I felt very satisfied with the training I was given
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I have an opportunity to return, and I am hoping to return after my studies
The Culture
There are plenty of places to go out in portsmouth and most are cheap with student nights. The accommodation is a good price as well.
Lots to get involved in from sports to volunteering.
