The Role
I have thoroughly enjoyed the placement so far
Since day one, I have felt like a part of the team, they made me feel really welcome. Everyone has been really friendly and very helpful
I have been supported throughout my placement at ASDA by all my colleagues, and they have really driven my personal development
Most days I had a perfect balance of work on, but there were times when I didn't have a lot on and equally times when I had too much on
I would say I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility. I don't think I would have wanted to run the show so it was the perfect balance
i have learnt so much since I started my placement, and feel I have been pushed (in a good way) to organise my personal development. my work is complimenting my degree studies,as well as going above and beyond.
The Company
I couldnt wish for a better atmosphere in the office its great! I love it
There are certain tasks that have beenm organised, but quite a lot of the time it was me who had to find my own work to do, but I enjoyed doing that and think I learnt more from it.
I don't think they could have done more to help me with my personal development
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare from home
I only have a 12 month placement, but I am hopeful that I will get a job within the company once this is over.
The Culture
I would say that is one thing that could be improved. There was another student in my team who I got along with great, but we have never been introduced to the other placement students in the business. It might be useful to organise a social group for all the placement students to meet and get together.
No extra than normal
leeds is a great night out
There were plenty of opportunities
