The Role
The internship was brilliant, the role was varied and I had plenty to do and get involved with. The only downside was it went far too quick!
I always felt valued by my colleagues which was shown by the tasks they trusted me with. No tea making here!
Working alongside my supervisor meant I always had the support and guidance I needed. My questions were always answered and I never felt as though I couldn't speak to them.
Most days were busy and it was great being able to come in to work and know what it was I needed to get on with. With most jobs there was the odd occasion where it would be quiet but this gave me the opportunity to catch up on unimportant tasks.
The further I got into the internship the more responsibility I was given which made the job even more enjoyable. I even got to help out with the Marketing Plan.
The skills and experience I developed at Bosch have helped me considerably both in my final year and finding work outside of University.
The Company
The office had a great family like feel to it and I was made to feel welcome right from day one. There was the perfect balance of getting the job done whilst having a good time.
The internship was seamless. I was always kept up to date with my application progress and start dates and I had a good handover period to enable me to learn the ropes. The best thing was the internship had a clear job role.
I was given the training I required for the job role such as CRM but there wasn't a great deal of other training.

With Bosch as a company the employment prospects are good, they do have a Marketing graduate scheme. However graduate roles based in Worcester are more engineering orientated.
The Culture
The social scene among the other interns was fantastic. I was lucky that there were a large number of us dotted throughout the organisation and we would meet up at Lunchtimes and have evenings out after work.
I moved to the area of Worcester and was able to live comfortably in rented shared accommodation. In terms of nights and days out, it wasn't as cheap as the northern prices I was used to but I still managed!
With Worcester being a relatively small city the nightlife wasn't amazing (especially after nights out at Uni) but with a group of us interns we had a fair few good nights out!
There were plenty of ooportunities to get involved in activities outside of work. I ended up taking part in the three peak challenge raising money for children in need.
