The Role
Really good, I'd never done an insight program so it was all new. It was exciting going on a business trip on expenses and staying in a conference centre!
The hole focus was on us interns, everyone there was going around trying to make sure you had as much fun as possible. Intern - intern reaction was really good too, everyone was really friendly and nice to each other!
We were told about a month before we started everything that was expected from us, then day by day we would get a briefing of the plan for the day. During the tasks there was always someone about you could grab for help
We were "working" from about 9 till 5, but within this time was lots of breaks, or questioning and answering sessions, which you can obviously relax in for a bit
Not at all. All week you work on a hypothetical project as a chance to display your skills, but none of the work is real work
You learn so much about the consulting firms and their operations (meaning you can nail interviews). You also get trained at how to pass assessment centre tasks - lots of test practise, group exercises etc.
The Company
Really friendly. Everyone was so nice and outgoing. It was a more professional version of summer camp, however some people did know each other beforehand so stuck together in little groups.
Really well, everything was planned out. I lived over the 3 hour distance barrier so was put up in a hotel for the Sunday before we started too!
Everything, the hole week is aimed towards developing you and seeing what skills you can bring to PwC for next year's summer internships.

I got an internship offer - I think everyone did, but some people didn't get the department they wanted.
The Culture
Yeah, we use to all hang out around the conference centre in the evenings - take a swim in the pool, relax in the sauna, go to the gym etc..
Everything was on expenses!
You weren't allowed out of the conference centre, so it was a case of just going to the hotel bar if you wanted to do anything in the late evening
No, we were only there for a week so on the Friday we all said goodbye, however some of us based in London arranged to all go out. Things like football are hosted at lunchtimes or on the Friday afternoon and organised by PwC
