The Role
Very full on but gained a great insight into the company and the types of roles in a professional firm.
Everyone at the academy was very friendly and you didn't feel like you were competing against everyone all the time.
Everyone organising the academy was very approachable and the whole academy was run very well.
Activities were organised all day - not much time to stop and think. However this was by no means a negative point.
No real responsibility as we were not in PwC's offices.
Gave me a much greater understanding of the actual type of things that go on at a professional services firm.
The Company
Although we weren't in offices the atmosphere at the academy was great. You felt very included in everything that went on.
A wide range of activities were organised. Communication before, during and after the academy was great.
Everything paid for. Invested lots in making sure all activities were of a very high and enjoyable standard.
Subsidised Canteen
Have secured a 2013 summer internship with PwC.
The Culture
Everyone was very friendly and people came from a very large and interesting range of backgrounds.
Academy was residential so didn't incur any expenses.
Unfortunately there isn't a very large number of clubs/bars in the south east countryside...
As the academy was fully residential, activities were organised for us both in the days and the evenings.
