The Role
The 9-week internship program was very well structured. We did not only get serious desk work, but also had the opportunities to participate in a range of activities organized by HR, such as lectures, networking events, etc. Best ever intern experience.
My colleagues were very friendly to me. They always tried to spare time to coach me and gave me work selectively to ensure it was within my capability to finish it.
My manager frequently asked whether I had enough work to do and whether I was given enough guidance. We also had buddy/mentor assigned to help us in anything related to our career experience.
I was given some hand-on work to do everyday and for the rest of the time I was allowed to do some self-study to build up my technical knowledge. I never felt too bored or too busy.
I was not given much responsibilities but that was quite understandable as my work was very technical in nature and it needed time to build up knowledge/skills to be competent for it. However, I was given sufficient opportunities to gain insights into what my team had been doing.
A combination of hardcore skills and soft skills. Very beneficial.
The Company
Intense when working but relaxed and fun during breaks.
a very well structured program. I can see the bank had put in a lot of effort in the training program.
We had very good online training courses before the program started and also on-spot training during the internship.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events

If interns did well, we did receive return offers.
The Culture
Lots of interaction among fellow interns through afterwork events.
The bank provided us with accomodation options.
Not too sure as I was not interested in it.
Yes, there were some annual events such as division party, etc.
