The Role
Enjoyable but also stressful
Very supportive, sent me on additional training to improve skills I was lacking
Either had no work or too much work but I enjoyed it
Difficult in the financial sector as large learning curve
Applicable to grad job
The Company
Really friendly and supportive and light-hearted, fun to be in
Extremely well structured and organised, communication was also 100% efficient
Sent us on training sessions and one-to-one discussions on projects and assignments, invested a huge deal in my progress and improvement
Subsidised/Company Gym
I got a job with them!
The Culture
Social scene was definitely a highlight, really friendly and out-going interns as well as other colleagues
Deutsche Bank provided and subsidised accommodation so many of the interns lived together which made socialising easy and cost of living much cheaper than it would otherwise have been, especially during the Olympics
London's nightlife is second to none in the UK and Deutsche Bank is situated right in the centre
Not much time outside of work but there was a corporate volunteering day
