The Role
It had nice presentations, a lot of networking opportunities within all areas and good work shadowing opportuntiies.
I collaborated well and made lots of friends!
I had all my queries answered and found out lots of new things.
We had to be there from morning until 5 or 6 PM, but we had breaks and it was interesting.
This being an insight week, we mostly had presentations and group activities, within which all members had to take responsibility for coming up with great ideas.
This insight week gave me a good overview of the banking industry, of how it uses technology (as this was one of my interests) and helped me develop skills necessary in the application process for an internship.
The Company
The atmosphere was good and it was very nice that I had many colleagues of my age, from different countries and with things in common.
It was great, everything seemed carefully planned!
I think that simply this opportunity of going to an insight week prior to a potential internship is a good way of training.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
I hope to receive an offer soon!
The Culture
They seemed very collaborative and sociable.
The same usual London costs.
Canary Wharf is not a nightlife area, but it's connected to the tube which goes to nightlife areas.
I'm not sure, didn't have time to worry about this.
