The Role
I enjoyed the varied work that my internship entailed
Throughout the process I felt very valued by my colleagues who treated me as an equal
My manager was excellent in providing my with tasks and guidance as well as pushing me to explore my interests while at the bank.
Although at times I didn't have much to do on the whole my task flow was managed very well
I was given a large amount of responsibility during my placement including being involved in working on tasks and presenting to Managing Directors
I feel that the internship prepared me excellently for my dissertation in my final year at university
The Company
I found the atmosphere very welcoming and it was always an enjoyable place to work
The internship was structured very well with many speaker sessions and events spread throughout the 10 week process to ensure that interns got a wider view of the bank and weren't purely focused on the division within which they were postitioned
I was extremely impressed with the amount of time people devoted to training me.

I highly recommend working for BAML
The Culture
Yes
As the office is situated in London the cost is very high
Huge variety of places to go to
Obviously the majority of time is spent working however there is still enough time to socialise outside of work
