The Role
Really well-setup insight week as it involved us actually completing projects rather than purely listening to company presentations (as other firms)
Everyone I'd met on the week were really friendly, have most on Facebook.
Staff were along for the ride every step for the way - very eager to help. The group project flowed much better this way.
Pre-timetabled schedule and this was adhered to. The team tasks were quite draining (if I'm honest!), but enjoyable nonetheless
Responsibility was available in the way of leading the group project.
Made many mistakes in the week, but these were very valuable to learn from - however, not entirely related to my uni course.
The Company
Very quite in general, as if people had a lot to be getting on with. Yet working with others for the team activities was enjoyable.
As mentioned before, well planned and particularly useful for those aspiring to work in the field.
The projects that we took part in were, in my opinion, very valuable in terms of personal development. I had to defend my views on many occasions and this was great for "thinking on the spot".
Subsidised Canteen
Forwarded to assessment centre for the summer internship
The Culture
Many were willing to have fun at night in London, so this was a really good aspect of the week
London prices are higher than other parts of the country
It was truly Awesome! Many fun nights that week..
Aside from one real networking event hosted by the firm, not too much of the kind offered during the week
