The Role
It was a very good opportunity to get insight into the world of technology through investment banking. Not only was the job interesting, the people there were extremely helpful and my manager and team were all very friendly and approachable.
Everyone that I worked with had a very positive and helpful attitude. They always took the time to talk to me and explain things that are difficult.
My supervisor gave me regular feedback and they were all constructive.
The first few weeks were a bit slow but it got to a pretty good balance towards the end.
I was given a good amount of responsibility and worked along side those who had more experience. It was a good chance for me to learn from professionals but also try out my own skills
The technical skills were only a small portion of what I learned. The communication, team work, problem solving skills were the most important aspect.
The Company
It was a friendly environment for an investment bank.
Well organized.
It was only a 9 week placement but all the people on my team were willing to take the time to explain things.

The Culture
There could have been more social events throughout the placement. There were a lot of seminars that were helpful, but a bit more social ones would have been nice.
