The Role
I thourally enjoyed my time at EDF Energy
I made many friends whilst on placement, people were always happy to help.
Some of my supervisors were really good, pointing out development opportunity's and offering me support.
The amount of work I had to do was dependent on my own productivity and interest in learning.
I was given the responsibility of a safety significant project.
This placement gave me a wide understanding of practical engineering applications.
The Company
One of my offices was social and friendly, the other was more serious and production based.
The training courses were well organised.

I was offered a place on the EDF Energy Graduate Program.
The Culture
There are a lot of placements/graduates on site, events were planned regularly.

I Travelled 35 min (22 miles) to work every day. the area I live din was closer to a large town so there was lots of night-life.
EDF Energy encourages all of its employees to get involved in the STEM Network and local organisations.
