The Role
Varied throughout the year depending on what projects I was involved in
Felt valued by some people, some more than others
I happened to have an extremely busy manager so was left to own devices
Varied throughout the year. At times I had to find myself things to do an manager was too busy to find me work
Some projects I had a lot of responsibility
Nothing specific to my degree but I developed soft skills such as time management, organisational etc.
The Company
Sometimes a bit too quite
Not as organised as it could be, depended on the manager.
Got to go to some good training sessions
Company Parties/Events
I decided I wasn't interested in a place on the graduate scheme
The Culture
Good group at factory sites but everyone's spread out so social events are not that often.
Neither expensive or inexpensive
Peterborough doesn't have the greatest of nightlife
Next to nothing. People at head office didn't really socialise outside of work
