  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Varied throughout the year depending on what projects I was involved in

    • Felt valued by some people, some more than others

    • I happened to have an extremely busy manager so was left to own devices

    • Varied throughout the year. At times I had to find myself things to do an manager was too busy to find me work

    • Some projects I had a lot of responsibility

    • Nothing specific to my degree but I developed soft skills such as time management, organisational etc.

    • Sometimes a bit too quite

    • Not as organised as it could be, depended on the manager.

    • I decided I wasn't interested in a place on the graduate scheme

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Good group at factory sites but everyone's spread out so social events are not that often.

    • Neither expensive or inexpensive

    • Peterborough doesn't have the greatest of nightlife

    • Next to nothing. People at head office didn't really socialise outside of work
