The Role
Cushman & Wakefield gave me a valuable insight into the life of a Surveyor, allowing me to be involved in all aspects of their work and interaction with their clients.
My colleagues were friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease through what can be a daunting time.
All members of the team were willing to provide guidance and answer questions regarding the work I was given.
I was given enough work to be challeged but not so much as to feel unable to complete the work to a high standard.
I was given as much responsbility as was suitable considering my current qualifications.
Everything I learnt whilst at Cushman & Wakefield will be taken forward with me as I continue my career in the filed of Surveying.
The Company
The atmosphere was professional but easy going.
The placement was well organised with all information and dates given to me well in advance.
It was made clear that the aim of the placement was to provide professional experience of the career in Surveying and to bring our attention to the process of completing the APC.

I now hold a full time position at Cushman & Wakfield.
The Culture
Placement students were encouraged to attend networking events and socialise as a group.
London is an expensive place to live, but with forward planning an active social life is easily achievable.
London has more clubs and bars than you could ever go to!
Whilst on placement I was invited to attend the companies summer party and was invited along to all social events attended by the department.
