The Role
I had a very enjoyable 6 weeks
They were not too patronising, but also took the time to explain things in detail
my people manager and buddy were very helpful and always there to give me advice
I always had something to do, and it i wasn't busy, someone would find me something to do
i was given access to confidential information, and trusted altering things on the internal system
A lot more familiar with excel, and I now have more confidence in myself to back up what I think is right and put my opinion across
The Company
It was not busy season and so people had more time to talk
everything ran very smoothly
3 day residential training, and lots of support while you were there
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
They offered me a job at the end of my internship
The Culture
I got to know people in other lines of service in other offices
I lived at home, and socialising was fairly cheap
Not great, but London is just around the corner
I went to poker
