The Role
I had such an enjoyable time at Deloitte. The work, the people, everything was great.
Everyone was unbelievably welcoming, and involved me in a wide range of activities.
I have had so offers to help me prepare for my partner interview. The support I've received has been great.
If I want work, I ask for it, ot it seems to magically appear in front of me. If I don't want any more, I can easily say that I have too much to do already and that will be happily accepted.
I had just the right amount of responsibility during my placement. I had to do presentations and research for deadlines, it was perfect for my position and I never felt overwhelmed.
The financial technical terms that I have picked up will be with me forever. I have learnt an unbelievable amount of information in the past 6 weeks. I recently sat through the newcomers presentation again, and was delighted to find that I understood all of it, and felt as though I could've given it myself.
The Company
Everyone chatted among themselves and helped each other out when necessary. But when the real work was being done, everybody worked very hard.
The communication with the graduate recruitment team was great. I always had plenty of work to do. Very well organised in general.
I have received a huge amount of training, everybody has been as helpful as possible. I now understand everything that the other analysts do.
