The Role
Was an enjoyable and quick six weeks
Felt that colleagues were happy to leave you with tasks, and did appreciate work you completed
Plenty of communication with your supervisor, and the managers in the office were also willing to help you.
Had some busy days and some really quiet ones, also due to the fact it is a quiet time of year. However you can always find yourself something to do.
Colleagues gave you responsibility, especially if going to client meetings you were required to research and possibly aid in preparing an itinerary.
Your communication and networking skills are developed, and the insight you gain into a working life in a big 4 company is useful for when you finish university
The Company
Really friendly and relaxed
Was well organised
Company Parties/Events
Got offered a Job.
The Culture
Fellow interns socialised on weekends and regularly met for lunch
Not the cheapest for socialising
There was quite regular drinks evenings and also played sport for a EY team
