The Role
The insight day was enthralling, constructive and thoroughly worthwhile.
Following the business simulation exercise, the EY mentor for our 6-person group gave us detailed and useful feedback on our performance. Identifying the strengths and weaknesses in our skill-sets and ways to improve was particularly helpful.
A lot of resources had clearly been put into the Insight Day; the ratio of EY employees to participants was roughly 1:3. They were attentive, enthusiastic and made one feel comfortable and supported.
It was a one-day Insight, and we were very busy indeed.
Unlike other Insight Days I have been on, the EY day included a 4-hour business simulation task where the participants were challenged and put under pressure in mock-client interviews with a professional business actress.
Prior-planning, communication, teamwork and presentation skills come in handy in all areas of life.
The Company
Dynamic, happy and welcoming.
The organisation left me very impressed.
Clearly a great deal of resources were put into the Insight Day in preparation, planning and the time of so many staff.
Future prospects seem very appealing; EY clearly put a lot of resources into their workforce, allowing them to grow both skills-wise as well as individuals.
