The Role
It was challenging but utterly worth the effort as hard work always pays off!
They have become like family to me, and everyone who has done this instantly has something in common and a bond with another who has also.
Daily calls to your manager, weekly group meetings, every week a message from the main manager
We were very busy but not to the extent of exhaustion and, as I said, hard work pays off.
We were running our own business during the summer so we had full responsibility.
There are such a number of skills that I acquired that they will help me out in every aspect of my life
The Company
Although we were essentially on our own, we spent time with families and every Sunday we had fun meetings and each night, on staying with host families, we got to bond with them and others staying with the same family
They have been doing this for over 150 yrs so it was seamless! Although it takes a while to get into the routjne
They invest so much time and energy that eah person genuinely seems to matter
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
The Culture
Very cheap as we lived with host families
Not really into the nightlife scene
