The Role
The hours were long, but the experience I obtained as well as the people I met made it all worth it.
Over my year I got extremely close to my colleagues. We worked well and productively together and could still emjoy doing things together out of hours.
I feel this differed from team to team. Wihlst some were extremely helpful and took the time to ensure I fully understood everything, others would explain and expect me to complete the work on my own accord. In both cases I kept asking questions to ensure the job was done.
The deadlines I had were long and structured. For this reason I could manage me time well to ensure I was not too busy, or bored.
I feel I was believed in by my teams and so was given alot of responsibility and opportunties. I was very happy to take these on board and feel I learnt alot during these times.
The skills I have primarily developed are skills which I consider for live. I am far more organised, wake up early and can easily work for the whole day in the library without being phased. This has greatly improved my confidence.
The Company
The peopole around me, are all like minded individuals. Although we do want to get the work done, we enjoy chatting and socialsing during off time. I really enjoyed being in the office.
I feel the training week, was very well set up. The exams however, were not satisfactory. I did not receive any information from the exam training team, was registered for the wrong exams and found it difficult to revise when there was such uncertainty.
I feel the company did invest in me, by allowing me to take the exams and by developing soft skills, such as presentation and excel. This greatly enhancd my work throughout the year and made me far more confident when returning to Bath University.

I have secured a job with Ernst and Young, I will be returning there when I graduate.
The Culture
There was a commitee who organsised regular social events which allowed you to meet those in your department. There was also regular leaving drinks and joinging drinks for those who naturally moved on.
Socialising is expensive, however, this is compensated by the fact that a large number of the socials are organised by Ernst and Young.
The Nightlife in London Bridge is not great. You have to travel either a bit closer to Central, or a bit further out to get to the main clubbing scene.
There were a large number of opportunities. Excel workshops, charity events- there were events made to bring out the best in everyone.
