The Role
My team was really nice. Everybody was friendly to me and they were all willing to let me try different work. They were also very patient to teach me stuff. I have learnt a lot through the work. I really love it.
Just like what I mentioned above, my colleagues were really nice and this is the best team I ever had.
My manager was very nice as well. Even though he was pretty busy everyday, he still found time to chat with me and gave me suggestions. When I made some mistakes during the work, he encouraged me rather than criticized me. He always asked me what else I would like to try in the work so as to let me learn as much as I can. He was my best manager.
I was busy when I had work but if I finished it early then I sometimes had plenty of time to wait for the next instruction.
I have been given sufficient responsibility during the work, e.g. doing some work on live servers. I also proposed some approaches for my manager for improving the utilisation efficiency of the all servers within Citi.
This internship provided me a broad view over Technology Infrastructure as well as virtualization technology, which is a leading technology mostly used in mutinational companies. I have fully developed my problem solving skills, teamwork and project management skills. I also have developed my leadership skills throughout the community work. All of these will assist me in the future via various perspectives.
The Company
Everybody was enthusiastic to the work. Nobody has got a bad mood from the recession. Everybody was working hard. This is a definitely positive environment to work.
The HR at Citi organized this internship quite well even under short of budget. I am very satifised with it.
I have tried various work through my internship and my colleagues even taught me piece by piece. I have devloped my technical knowledge and experience broadly.

Citi eventually provided me this permanent job. So I have selected 'Got a Job With Them'!
The Culture
My intern colleagues had different perspectives. Some of them would like to switch to front office and HR had arranged interviews for them. I think HR had tried their best to provide them opportunities. Others who would like to stay with their teams had positive attitude to their work.
The cost of living and socialising was in a range that I was capable to accept.
I did not go out at night so I am not sure about this...
Many networking sessions with my colleagues and even interns from other companies.
