The Role
A times the work was boring but the people were lovely and we had plenty of work socials so we could bond with other interns
As an audit intern, I was moved around over the 6 weeks to work on different clients. On each of my clients I had a super supportive team of colleagues who were always willing to give me help and advice so I could improve.
I had a councillor who was available for me to talk about my experience> I also recieved constand support from my colleagues from all levels.
Some down time but not much.
I worked independently on many documents and had to run meetings with the clients myself.
I learnt so much over the 6 weeks, incredible summer and so many good experiences!
The Company
Sometimes it was quiet but I was off site often.
I was given a technology introduction and a work schedule on the first day.
We got taken out for lunch sometimes by managers. We also had an induction weekend at the beginning and a final black tie event at the end in Manchester Imperial War museum.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
I have secured a graduate offer.
The Culture
We had organised events at the start and end of the internship with all regional interns then over the 6 weeks we organised our own social events in our office.
I lived at home and commuted.
I didn't make the most of it as I had a long commute home.
