The Role
Was an interesting insight into the world of consultancy. Had some interesting projects and worked at some cool locations.
They involved me in all their work, spoke to me on friendly terms straight away and i still talk to them and meet up with them outside of work hours.
Frequent meetings and constant progress updates.
There were a couple of down times, but most of the time i was busy working away/
I had a project all to myself so I had a lot of responsibility for that.
The consultancy skills have helped in a noise control module i am studying now.
The Company
Easy going, comfortable.
No problems, was allowed to say for longer if wanted that summer, as long as 10 weeks were completed at the minimum.
sometimes they were busy, but generally i was allocated time slots each day for some training
They expressed an interest in employing me post-graduation
The Culture
I was the only placement student there, but social scene between staff was great.
it was central london so a bit more costly than average, but I was being paid a reasonable wage.
Central london nightlife.
Not so much outside of work except pub and restaurant outings from time to time.
