  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Was an interesting insight into the world of consultancy. Had some interesting projects and worked at some cool locations.

    • They involved me in all their work, spoke to me on friendly terms straight away and i still talk to them and meet up with them outside of work hours.

    • Frequent meetings and constant progress updates.

    • There were a couple of down times, but most of the time i was busy working away/

    • I had a project all to myself so I had a lot of responsibility for that.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The consultancy skills have helped in a noise control module i am studying now.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Easy going, comfortable.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • No problems, was allowed to say for longer if wanted that summer, as long as 10 weeks were completed at the minimum.

    • sometimes they were busy, but generally i was allocated time slots each day for some training

    • They expressed an interest in employing me post-graduation

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • I was the only placement student there, but social scene between staff was great.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • it was central london so a bit more costly than average, but I was being paid a reasonable wage.

    • Central london nightlife.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • Not so much outside of work except pub and restaurant outings from time to time.
