The Role
Work-life balance was learnt
Work carried out had real importance to the department
From mentor to line manager, support was available throughout the placement
Planning, organisation and executions of both uni work and work responsibilities were self-managed
Placement students were given their own project to manage under supervision of their line managers
From laboratory skills to project management; the placement was great at giving you the freedom to attend courses that will enhance skills
The Company
A lot more target orientated than I would have preferred
It took too long to initiate project
Appropriate training was given to ensure that the work was carried out at high standards
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
The job prospect does not match with my interest in the field of research
The Culture
We all got on very well
Living cost is not too elevated as our location well situated and offered affordable living as a student
loads of good places to accommodate you and your budget whatever it may be
From dance classes to sport clubs
