The Role
I really enjoyed my placement, especially the time I spent with my District Manager.
Everyone was always very supportive.
There was never a day that was not filled of jobs that needed to be done in store. At first time management was a challenge for me, but with plenty of practice and support I was able to balance my workload more effectively.
From day one you are given lots of responsibility. If you choose all three sales modules you have the opportunity to run your own store and expereince the role of a District Manager.
Throughout the placement you develop many managerial skills such as organisation, team building and leadership.
The Company
At times the job was very difficult, so having a supportive and strong team was important for getting through the bad days.
The placement is very well organised from Head Office and now with the introduction of a Training Manager in every region I'm sure it will only continue to improve.
With the company we completed a lot of training, including ganing an Alcohol License, HR trainng, as well as Health and Safety training.

Above 25 days holiday
I have been offered a Deputy Store Manager job with the company, but I would of prefered a graduate position.
The Culture
We had four training sessions over the year where all students attended. I also attended every monthly District Manager meeting with other students from my region.
