The Role
The insight academy lasted for 3 days and it was honestly such a good experience and way to spend Easter.
We did lots of group tasks with other students but the organisers from HR really made us feel valued throughout our time there.
Support and guidance came from speaking to Partners and graduate recruitment who were always available to answer any of our questions and make our experience unforgettable.
Days were jam packed, you will sleep well after these 3 days. We had to do numerous presentations in a group and tasks which simulate what we will do in the assessment centre for a graduate job.
There was opportunity to volunteer to be a group leader in the teams. However, we rotated team members regularly which allowed us to be involved in different areas of teamwork.
It considerable improved my confidence especially as I had limited experience in public speaking
The Company
There was an enthusiastic atmosphere throughout.
The 3 days were timetabled well. Although the days were long at times the organisers ensured that we had sufficient time to take breaks throughout the day.
I feel that they invested a lot as Senior staff would take time out from their day and speak to us. As well as this lunch was provided!
Company Parties/Events
I have been fast tracked to the assessment centre so hopefully this has helped my application.
The Culture
Yes. We got to network and socialise in the evening. I've made some good friends over the few days.
Did not have to pay as PwC provides all expenses.
Did not get to fully experience this due to the 3 days.
Evening networking events such as meals but not apart from this.
