    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The 3 day experience was mentally and physically challenging and consisted of many team exercises with presentations, but on the whole I enjoyed it. I felt that I learnt a considerable amount in a small space of time.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Given that this only was for 3 days, I felt that the course organisers made us feel valued by engaging us into the tasks and also encouraging us to ask questions.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The supervisors and managers we met were fantastic and gave us some good advice about our potential future career prospects.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The days were very busy and at the end there was always a social event. By the end you will be very tired!

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The Talent Academy didn't really showcase much responsibility as this only came from volunteering as the team leader. This was rotated so that different people had the responsibility.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Due to the numerous tasks I felt that my creativity was broadened especially with regards to problem solving. In addition core skills such as teamwork, organisational and communication skills were also enhanced.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • All expenses were paid and we were provided with a useful interactive learning experience. I feel that PwC also invested by providing insightful speakers such as Senior Managers in different departments to speak to us.

  • Company Parties/Events
