The Role
I really enjoyed the mix of skills sessions and office experience as it gave me the opportunity to see whether the work suited me personality.
The external training was fantastic and the tutors were really forthcoming. This made such a difference as my degree was nothing to do with banking.
We were shadowing in the office on a number of days and our mentors were very supportive and wouldn't hesitate to talk about their own experiences and give advice.
I was busy especially on the days where there was training as the days were very full in content.
As the placement involved training and shadowing, unfortunately, there were not any opportunities to showcase any responsibility.
There were a lot of networking events which I had previously not had too much exposure to. This seems to have built my confidence, especially when talking within a group.
The Company
When we were in the office, although most people looked extremely busy, the place had a buzz around it which made it exciting to be a part of.
I was really impressed with the timetable and the accommodation we were provided with!
The company invested in our external training which shows that they take a positive approach to investment in our future.

Company Parties/Events
The scheme places you in a good position to be selected for an internship. After further assessments, I managed to convert this into a position on the internship programme.
The Culture
Everyone was really sociable and as there were many events, we got to know one another during the course of the week.
I found London to be slightly more expensive than where I go to univeristy.
Loved the nightlife when we got to experience it. This was uncommon though!
As we had only a few days within the firm, there just wan't enough time to take part!
