The Role
It was a very rewarding experience, with a great company.
Everybody was always available to give a hand, explain things and answer questions
Management was always available for questions, even at the busiest of times
Working in audit can become pretty hectic between January and April, with a lot of workload.
I was given a lot of responsibility early on and considered like a graduate, but I always felt I could count on someone more senior in case I had doubts
By engaging with clients on a daily basis, you gain skills and professionalism which uni simply can't give you.
The Company
There's always a lot of people getting up to something interesting, especially if they're raising money for charity.
From application to training to on-the-job experience, HR did a perfect job.
We were provided industry-specific training and took 2 exams towards the CA qualification.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Got a grad offer
The Culture
As there were many placement students, the company organised many events and a lot of us became friends.
Central London can be quite expensive..
Good, especially when meeting with other placement students.
Gym, Theatre, CSR, Charities..plenty
