The Role
Great helpful colleagues and the big workload suited myself.
Gained the trust of my colleagues over a period of time, but a lot of praise was always received.
Having little knowledge of the industry prior to the placement, I had a lot of learning to do, but my colleagues were very patient and were always on hand to aid my queries.
The workload slowly increased throughout the year, but naturally you become more efficient and a wear of what is expected and what needs to be done.
similar to the last question, throughout the year you became more independent and capable of tackling tasks on your own accord.
Without doubt the things I have learned whilst on my placement will aid my final year studies and life skills.
The Company
Varied a lot, but overall all I throughly enjoyed the the company of my colleagues and fellow placement students.
No guidelines were set as such. There is a two week lapse between when I started the person I have taken over from leaves, you are expected to continue with what ever the last placement student did, the is almost essential and worked well.
Undertook a lot of training courses by HR, some where better than others, but all were crucial to learning more about the business and improve personal skills.

Would happily return.
The Culture
Had many social events and got to know each other really well.
Commuted from home, so spent relatively little and managed to go on holiday a lot.
B'ham is great night out.
Did some events with the student committee.
